Hashbrown casserole
Who doesn’t just love carbs-galore?
If you said no the statement above, just close out the window. You do not belong here.
We are a carb friendly, within reason, group here.
Sorry, I diverted. Anyway, I wanted to share with you another great, staple recipe that you will typically see over the holiday season.
Hashbrown Casserole!
This year (2022) added some interesting turn of events when planning out this meal. I could not find frozen hashbrowns… ANYWHERE!
Honestly, it was kind of ridiculous.
So here we are, shredding and food processing fresh potatoes. Not recommended if you are looking for convenience. But highly recommended, if you want more of a fresh taste to your casserole.
The choice is really yours!
This is a super easy throw together ahead of time then pop it into the oven the morning or evening of your event.
I wanted to make this recipe a little more simpler. I didn’t want anyone to have to search high and low for wild ingredients. This recipe is not dairy free by any means due to the cheese needed to bind most things together. You could opt to get a dairy free cheese. The only difference is that it might not melt like you are expecting. Only 9 ingredients needed to have a delicious dish.
You can find the recipe card below. Right click and you can print it right from here. I hope that you enjoy this recipe as much as I did.
